My name is Takeshi Kometani.Two weeks has passed since I arrived to Riverside.
Today I am goin to tell you about myself.
Before I start to introduce myself, I want to ask you a question. Do you know where is Japan? Japan is next to China in the east, and she is called the easternmost island! My hometown, Osaka prefecture, is located in almost the middle of Japan. The climete is basically so worm that we can sent comfortable lives. Thanks to the good climate and atomostphere, you can see beautiful flowers and lively trees especially in spring and summer. Very nice place :)
If you have a chance to visit Osaka, I strongly recommend you to try to eat some food which is made from flour. Osaka is very famous for the delicious food even in Japan. The tipical good food is takoyaki! It is a kind of baked small bowl made from pasted flour. In the baked small bowl, you can find there is a bite-sized octopus. I heard that some American people dislike octopus and do not eat it, but please try it!! It's sooooo delicious. Brown sauce and mayonnaise extract further good taste :)
Next, let me tell you about my academic background. My own school is Doshisha university in Kyoto. My major is global commuication and I mainly study the cultural context between countries and some effective ways to communicate with people. The studying extent includes Japanese cultures. Last year, I learnened Japanese pop-culture, movies and something like that. If you have interesting about Japanese culture, please ask me without hesitancy. I will answer your questions as far as I know.
At last. I want to tell you about my personal interests. My hobby is to play sports especially basketball and swimming. When I was a high school student, I was in a swimming club. In adition, I love reading books. I mean, I am addicted to novels a little ;D If you know books you recommend, please tell me!!
